Yes, they are pricey than the average swivel desk chair. With the greater cost comes greater quality, and greater comfort and it really does show! You can also have cool features such as RGB lights embedded in the chair (Yes, I’m Serious!) It looks really nice as I own one myself, and if you’re already a RGB enthusiast your probably thinking sold!

But even if you’re not, it really adds an even better environment to your gaming setup, it makes you not want to leave your room more than you already do! That said, I wouldn’t personally recommend a gaming pedestal for a PC setup, unless your desk is low enough to make it work.

Most PC desks sit quite high, so a pedestal might not be the best fit. However, some pedestals are built slightly taller than usual, so it’s not completely out of the question. That being said, they’re definitely geared more towards home theater setups, especially in a bedroom environment.
